As i am going back home for Christmas i wont have a gym to go to, so i have been trying to find alternative ways to keep up my fitness activity within order. I thought it would be a great idea to share my findings with you as well as some new ideas i had. I am flying this Saturday so do let me know if there's anything you'd like me to do whilst i am abroad.
Keep HydratedFirst and foremost keep up with your water intake, i actually find myself drinking more when i am on holiday but there's a few people (you.. yes you!) that drink way less than usual because they find them self so excited and omitted to the experience that thy forget. It helps if you've got a cute water bottle to carry on your bag (Primark has great water bottles), add up flavours to it so you can be excited to try and show off your "cocktail" of fruits and veggies.
Lezzz WalkzzzWhen i am in my home country i book loads of gatherings with my family and friends, so this year i am going to try and organise a time to have some gatherings in a park where people tend to want to walk around. So i'll be chatting all the way, keeping up to date with their news and also exercising.
Exercise? Nop, have fun!Create a 20 to 30 minute space on your day to exercise, either in the mornig or at night time though i totally recommend the mornings as it wakes you up and your fresh for the whole day. Now, i don't mean full on exercise i mean dance, have fun, 20 minutes of intense dancing like if you were in a night out. But if your anything like me that hates routine, you might wanna check out NIKE's exercising app for Android and IOS.
Ice skatingUnless your like me that suck on ice skating, your not gonna like this one. Ice skating can be really fun, it is something you can do with friends and family which makes it even cooler, plus experts say that exercising in the cold burns even more calories than doing the same workout indoors.
Eat correctly
You know this one for sure, do not skip meals specially breakfast because you will only be forced to eat more later. Distribute your meals throughout the day, what i mean is tat you should have 5 small meals during the day so you don't crave and don't eat ginormous meals.
Quick tip, it is best that you eat something before heading out to Christmas dinners. By doing that you will no longer be tempted to eat loads, fruit is the best one to help out in these situations.
Have you got any more ideas?! Share them with me!
